MAX THE SENIOR MAL HAS A NEW FAMILY MAX, NOW KNOWN AS 'THE SENIOR MAL' because I have had hundreds of Max's! This Max has a history. He was opted out of a military program in TY (not bite work at all) and was given to a foster who kept him crated all of the time. He then went to an adopter who lived in a small home and had no time for him. He finally wound up with a foster, here in town, who has done everything to get this boy ready for a great life. Max did have heartworm and was treated for it and it is no longer present. Max is 8 yrs old. He is social to a point with all the dogs in the dog park but establishes himself as alpha. He has never been in a fight but has the presence to make that alpha condition known. Max is a bit overweight and is down to 2 cups a day to get his waste line back. He is extremely well trained and super people friendly. He is a great companion dog for a person who has had a Malinois before. He is healthy and playful, walks well on a lead and is trained in basic commands 'cold'. Max is on the smaller size for a Mal.
