SIMBA HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY SIMBA came into the rescue today 1/20/24 from a family who just didn't have the space or time for him. They loved him very much and decided what was in his best interests was to have him rehomed. They had lots of small kids and cats and he is perfect with them. He grew up with kids around so kid chaos doesn't phase him. He was neutered at 8 months and he is going to be 2 in March. He is extremely playful and energetic. He was introduced to his new foster sister and was appropriate and played perfectly well. He could use some more basic obedience in that his recall and sit commands need work, but he is housebroken, healthy, hw neg and utd on all shots... and extremely well adjusted and handsome. He is a black and with some longer hair on his back and feathers. He is only 72 pounds but eats 6 cups a day and is really trim. He will fill out in the next year or so since some dogs fill out only after 3 years. He was introduced to a pinch collar and did perfectly with it. I believe he would be fantastic for a young family with the time to work with him. He needs to run, likes ball and is totally dog social. He is available immediately.
