CHARLIE HAS A NEW HOME CHARLIE is a rambunctious, happy go lucky, 1.5 yr old, black male GSD. He will be a medium to large boy and very handsome. He weighs about 78 pounds now and will be 90 probably. He is people and dog friendly. He was in a home but was dumped at the shelter because he chased farm animals. He would no be good on a farm but in most homes he would be fabulous. He is social but not obedience trained and needs basic obedience skills. He is smart and a fast learner and would respond well to a firm hand and an alpha type leader. If you are more toward the milk-toast person, he may own you, so I recommend a good leader as his ideal adopter. He is HW POS, but because he is a very light pos, our vet recommended slow kill and NOT the full 3 shot deal which means he can have a great deal more freedom while he is being treated. He came from a home and therefore we think he is probably housebroken but that is something that can be taught in a few days time. He probably however is already housebroken. He would do well with other dogs and is untested with cats. He sees to be more toward the alpha type and would do best with other more 'b' type dogs.
