BRUNO HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY

He was being fostered to adopt but Bruno just did not work out with their bird so he is back on the adoptable list. The foster could not stop raving about how sweet and affectionate, obedient and engaged this dog is. The next family fell in love with him and adopted him! BRUNO came to us today Sat 7/29/17 from a foster parent who extracted him from a home where he was unloved and basically kept as furniture. He was crated most of the time and really never bonded well with the family yet they just kept him, and both the dog and family lived separate lives. The foster asked to take him and he was relinquished readily. She has had him now for a few weeks and really never bonded with him because he was just too interested in her cats. He has now been moved to a more permanent foster until he is adopted.
He is a 60 pound 4.5 year old black and tan GSD. He is basically aloof at first but will come around after he gets to know you. It took him about an hour to feel comfortable here but he was put into a home on 8/25 and adapted in 5 minutes. He has come a long way and he is truly super friendly and affectionate. he knows his commands and is a perfect gentleman with people, kids and dogs. Bruno just got fixed on 8/1/17 and has had his rabies and all shots. We have heart worm tested him and he is Negative and in perfect health.
Bruno is house broken, not destructive and friendly with people and dogs. We tested him here today with Rudy and he did perfectly. He loves car rides and plays ball. His temperament is excellent and he is a calm yet engaged dog. He did live with young 4 girls and is used to kids and would be suitable for any home with kids but NOT cats or birds as he seems far too interested in them to be a good at fit.
Bruno is affectionate and walks well on a leash but needs basic training as soon as practical from the new owners. Bruno is at a foster in N Ft Myers is is available immediately for adoption.
