MAX 6 HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY AT MY BUDDIES PET CENTER MAX6 came to us last year and was adopted out to a family who has decided that they no longer want him. His original story is listed here:

Titan as we have named him AKA MAC was dumped a few days ago on I75 where he was then hit by a car. He was discovered and rescued by one of our foster families and taken to their home to recover. he had no broken bones but a gash on his face which is superficial and will heal quickly. He was quick to hop into the car and to be with people. He is a super people dog. We know he has ti be neutered and we are of course uncertain about his shots or heart worm condition which will be determined later this week when we can get him into our clinic for a check up.
What we do know is that he is super friendly, somewhat trained, house broken and great with other animals. We know he is really responsive to touch and to people and wants to be with you just like most GSD's. We think he is about a year old and in otherwise great physical shape. He is not the biggest male but a close standard to the breed at about 72 pounds. He is black and tan with a defined saddle.
Because we have families on our waiting list he is being offered first to one of them and if he is not taken then he will be available for adoption tomorrow, Sunday, 2/21/16

He was adopted out in Feb 2016 and remained in him home until today Monday 3/13/2017. He was renamed Max. The family wrote a short narrative about him now:

Max is a 2 year old German Shepherd, who was adopted a year ago. He has been a terrific family dog and has been so wonderful with our 4 kids (ages 3, 8, 10, and 10), especially our son who struggles with PTSD. He loves to play, especially with tennis balls. His favorite treats are beef knuckles, but as long as he's around his family, he is happy.

He is great with his immediate "pack"/family, but is extremely cautious with anyone new. We recently moved onto a large property which he loves, but unfortunately with all the change, we've found him to become more protective and nervous around new people, especially men. We are fairly positive he was abused in his first year, as he has always been scared around men, especially with beards. He needs further training with learning not to fear new people and immediately get defensive and try to protect "his pack".

It is our belief that Max6 needs far more socialization training than he was given and basically rather than do the further training he was relinquished. He needs an alpha and a pack authority figure so he needs to go to someone or some family that can appreciate his issues and address them. He needs a strong leader and an understanding family.. If Max6 could fit into your life, please call us asap. Max6 is being housed at the kennel in Port Charlotte and can be seen by appointment.
