MAX5 HAS A NEW FAMILY

UPDATE Due to an owners passing we may be getting one of two dogs he had. These are not yet vetted by us or received, but just in case someone is reading this site i have posted the info in the hopes to get some inquiries before Max5 arrives over the weekend.
The person bringing them write:
My name is Joan and I ran Catnip Trails pet rescue in Central Florida for 17 years. Catnip Trails closed 3 years ago, so I am no longer in rescue. Sadly a friend and former foster died last month and left me his two German Sheps… Leon & Max. I am not in a position to foster these dogs, and am looking for a responsible rescue who can take them on. They are both fully vetted and ready for adoption – and do NOT need to stay together. In fact, they will both excel without each other.

Max is an incredibly smart, active, energetic, and submissive 3 yr old black/tan male. He desperately needs a job – frisbee champion? Agility? Search/rescue? He is very focused and will do anything for praise. He’s the child that would always color inside the lines and want to do everything right. He quickly learns new tasks, never marks territory, and is very affectionate…. Loves belly rubs!

We have had the opportunity to evaluate Max5 and we find he is a submissive, loving family dog who just wants to be loved and requires little work to be perfect. he is dog friendly, untested with cats (so NO CATS) but he is great with people and dogs. Max5 is sable weighing about 75 pounds, house trained, obedience trained and loving. Max was adopted out to a family however their dog was far too much for him and he was returned through no fault of his.
