RUFIO HAS A NEW FAMILY

HANDSOME RUFIO HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY RUFIO came in this morning to our rescue 10/28/2016. he is a 1 YEAR OLD 70 pound long hair black and tan GSD. He is neutered and will receive all of his shots and a chip today to be ready for the adoption event tomorrow. He will join our other dogs there.
Rufio is a super friendly dog who has few manners but is smart and easily trained. He came out of a home with kids and is great with adults, men and children and dogs, untested with cats. He found out what a prong collar was all about today and decided to be especially good on it and not jump. He is definitely great with other dogs, male and female. He needs quite a bit of training in basic skills but overall this is a fabulous family dog. He is very affectionate with people but does bark a lot when he first sees someone. He calms down quickly and just wants to be cuddled. He is heart worm negative and all about fun. He will need socialization training so as to greet people and dogs in a more calm manner, but this dog has NO aggression in him and he is all about love and fun. He is still every bit of a puppy and will probably grow to 90 pounds at adulthood. He has a beautiful long hair coat of fur.
