GRETA HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY Greta is an extremely affectionate calm less than 2 year old black GSD. She has a few spots of brown and a few white hairs on her, but she is basic black.
Greta was found in an abandoned home being occupied by squatters. When police arrived they found her but the squatters had left. Remarkably she is HW Neg and has been spayed and has all shots. She is really affectionate and calm, sweet and engaged and loving and smart. She is crate trained, house broken and wants to please you in the worst way. She loves to ride in the car and to sit in the front seat. She has had all of her shots and she is chipped and ready to go as soon as the right family comes down the road.
Greta has been with one of our best fosters now for 2 weeks. He has taught her to heal and set up as well as sitting for her dinner and being polite. She is now better from her slight wound and in perfect health. We have seen some dog reactivity with smaller dogs and aggressive smaller dogs where she assume a defensive posture and wants to stand up to them. As a very young dog (probably 1.5 years max) she is showing her immaturity in dealing with confrontation which we believe will be easily trained out of her based on her personality. She is quick to learn as we thought when she came into the rescue and very attentive to pleasing her trainer and or her owner master.
She is truly a beautiful dog. I saw her today for a while and her fur was shining and she was glowing. I hope to find a forever home her this great dog quickly.
