SWEET ROSA HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY
update we have a family coming to meet her tomorrow. Rosa is a 5 year old black and tan female spayed GSD. She was first owned by a family where the wife passed away and then was given to another family who had her and her sister for almost 2 years but decided not to keep her when they moved. Rosa has always lived with her sister Velka who is 6 for her entire life. We do not recommend they stay together and we will be separating them.
Rosa is a sweet engaged girl who would be far better for most any family even with smaller dogs and kids. She is somewhat shy but very affectionate and will quickly adapt to being without her sister. She is in good health and besides having to get a few shots is HW Neg and engaged. She is housebroken but has been living outside now for 2 months. She is very interested in people and make contact very quickly. She is untested with cats and therefore we do not recommend a home with cats.
Rosa weighs about 65 pounds and can gain a few pounds. She is somewhat trained and does respond to commands in English and Spanish. She definitely needs training and some socialization skills but that is true with most dogs who come into our system. She is reported to like to dig holes in the yard, primarily because she has been board and needs people to play with her. She was typically ignored all day long.
