AMBER IS A SPECIAL NEEDS DOG WITH JUVENILE EPILEPSY AND HAS INFREQUENT SEIZURES WHICH ARE NOW UNDER CONTROL WITH MEDICATION SHE WILL SEIZE ABOUT 1 TIME EVERY 45 DAYS AMBER is a liver colored female GSD. Her owners are forced to rehome her due to financial constraints. AMBER has a mild form of epilepsy that can be controlled 95% by medications. When on the meds she has very infrequent episodes but if not on meds can have them far more frequently and more severe.
She is 2 years old and extremely friendly. She has a pet pig that she sleeps with and a cat in the home. She is also with a few younger kids and adults and although a bit shy at first, she warms up quickly. She is an engaged dog who has lots of energy and needs some basic obedience but she is housebroken, crate trained and knows all basic commands. We will will publish more medical details on her condition when we get them but otherwise she is in perfect heath, housebroken, calm, trained and affectionate. Because she requires meds the approximate cost of which are $.82 per day based on current costs from Walmarts pharmacy. Phenobarbital is what she is on now. The costs can be lower based on where you go with the script.
If AMBER looks like a dog you may wish to meet please call me asap to set up a date.
