HAGRID AKA HAVERTY HAS A NEW FAMILY THROUGH BEVARD GSD RESCUE HAGRID IS A DOG CURRENTLY IN ANOTHER RESCUE. Elena McKnight runs Bevard County GSD Rescue and has this great dog. She has some issues there and asked me to try and help find a home for this great dog. Her write up is below:
ABOUT HAGRID
Owner Referral. I am awesome! I'm Rubeus Hagrid, a large, highly intelligent, energetic 2-year old (neutered) male German Shepherd and I need to work! I have a strong herding and ball drive and need an experienced dog owner, preferably with GSD experience. I've had sheep herding and obedience training and am a favorite at the local doggie day cares. I listen well and learn very quickly. I'll even fetch and drop my own dish to announce when I'm hungry or thirsty. What I NEED is a home with another big (not small) dog or dogs to exercise and play with every day. What I HAVE is a home with young kids and cats, who I herd often in my boredom. I am well loved in my home but I deserve a much better fit for me. So no cats and no kids under 12 years old, please. Although we have not met him, we trust Elena completely and would rely on her description of him. They would be able to transport if someone was a serious adopter.
