BUDDY NEEDS A NEW HOME AND MASTER
UPDATE BUDDY IS GOING TO A FOSTER TOMORROW IF EVERYTHING WORKS OUT AS PLANNED BUDDY NEEDS A NEW MASTER. Buddy was left after his owner became ill and the family could not handle him. He loved his daddy and now is left with a family member who cannot manage him nor keep kim. He was turned into us today for rescue. He is immediately available for adoption. He will be neutered next week, so anyone taking him would have to deliver him to the vet for neutering
Buddy is about 100 pounds of muscle and energy. He will be neutered and chipped, given all shots etc as soon as we are able to do so as he is currently an in-tact male. His confirmation and health are excellent and he is, as you can see extremely handsome.
Buddy is a pure white GSD and he is 1 year 7 months old. His owner didn't do him any favors like train him, so he is a wild child. He does warm up but at first meeting is a bit rambunctious to say the least. He is smart and does recognize dominance but at this juncture in his life he is hard to handle and aimless. He needs an owner capable of getting him under control and trained and we suggest a person with time to do so. He is crate trained and not destructive but he is a lot to handle. He loves to run. His owner ran him 3+ miles a day and he is in terrific shape. He has all shots and he is HW Negative. Buddy is now getting good food and his fur will quickly show signs of that. His back fur is coarse but he is improving daily.
Buddy has to find a home quickly with a family WITHOUT small kids and a dominate male figure to train him. He needs a master. He is people friendly, somewhat mouthy, not in control at times, is OK on a lead but only with a pinch collar. He knows a few commands and does sit and shake hands readily but does them poorly and needs training from a dominate individual. He is a hard driving high play drive dog who can be taught to do most anything so long as you are in control of him. He does like other dogs and lives with a small Yorkie who is as big as his face. He is a good dog who is a teenager and once he is cut down to size and fixed, will become a great dog.
We do have one interested party but please call asap if you wish to be considered for this dog.
