SYKLAR HAS A NEW FOREVER HOME
UPDATE WE HAVE A FAMILY INTERESTED IN HER COMING TOMORROW FRIDAY 1/9 TO SEE HER.... STAY TUNED
SKYLAR is a 1 old white spayed female GSD. She is trained in the basics and she is Chipped. She had Giardia as a puppy but we tested her today for heart worm and Giardia and she was negative for both! She has been with an owner, through us, for 9 months and she has gone through a basic training. She lives with an 11 year old boy. She goes to the dog park, is kennel trained, obedient and sweet. She is on a grain free food for sensitive stomachs and needs to be on a grain free diet going forward just like all of our GSD's should be. She may have a pancreatic issue which we believe at this time is easily treated with a probiotic. The possibility exists she may have a pancreatic issue but that is also treatable. She has gained weight since she was adopted and is in otherwise perfect health.
Skylar, so we were told, does not like water and would not be a swimming partner if you were inclined to swim with her. Since she has been in her home however she has had baths and we believe will outgrow that water issue She is an active engaged dog and very submissive to other dogs. She does like other dogs outside her kennel and has been living with cats and a small Shitzu. She has all shots and she is ready to go home immediately. Skylar is house broken and crate trained and super sweet and loving to everyone beside being beautiful. She is a calm dog and eager to please. She has been in a family with kids and she is fine around people and kid chaos. She did meet a horse today and she was a bit taken aback but she was fine after a few minutes of being next to him. She is affectionate and likes everyone and gives kisses readily. Remember she is a baby by GSD standards. If you would like to see her please call for an appointment.
