WILLIAM NEEDS A HOME
UPDATE: He is available and really wants a great home, so if you want a beautiful dog, William is it. WILLIAM AND PATRICK were turned in by their owners. William is 12 months and Patrick is 2 years old.
William is a red and black male neutered GSD. He is super affectionate, crate trained, housebroken and loving. He is a great family dog as is his brother Patrick. He weighs about 80 pounds and he is in great health, heart worm negative and has all shots. He is super sweet and loves cats and other dogs. He is curious when he first meets someone but warms up in seconds. He likes to sit on your foot. They are a bonded pair but we have separated them in fosters and they did well so whether they are together or apart both are great and make great pets.
William is in good physical condition and is somewhat trained. He knows sit, not great on stay, and his recall is excellent. He does jump a bit bits sits down immediately to get rubs. He is crate trained and responsive to commands and to direction. They are both totally housebroken and not at all destructive. Anyone adopting either or both of them would need to attend our training classes to get them to understand the 'new alpha dog " in the home. Young dogs like this are definitely easy to re-adapt to new situations. They are eager to please and calm and submissive. They have great family temperaments and both have been in fosters now for a few weeks and did great and are both eager to get to their new FOREVER homes. They will be housed at our North Ft Myers kennel so if you want to see them you need to make an appointment OR COME TO OUR ADOPTION WEEKEND THIS FRIDAY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. NOV 14-15-16 They were originally surrendered because the owner could no longer afford to care for them. They had nothing wrong with them and surrendering them was the right thing to do. They have always been house dogs, with kids, cats and adults, and they have never been kept outside. They were loved and cared for very well and now crave a new family to love. If you have space in your home for a set of two dogs, these guys would be a great fit. If you would like to see them, give us a call at 941 575 0243.
