LOUIS HAS A NEW HOME

HANDSOME LEWIS NEEDS A NEW FAMILY
UPDATE We gave keeping Louis quite a bit of thought and realized he needs a family of his own with KIDS to be happy. Louis is a 2.5 year old longer haired black and tan male GSD possibly mixed with 15% Collie. He is a strong dog, well trained, use to running and jogging every day with his athletic prior owners and extremely playful. He is neutered, heart worm negative and has all shots. He was turning in by his owner who could not take him to her new house and wanted him to find a few loving young family to care for him. He is trained, housebroken, playful, active and engaged and great with kids. The family had 2 small babies and a young child. He is excellent with kids and loves to be petted and played with by children. Because he came from a home with younger children and is use to their antics and interactions he will only go to a home with kids or extremely active young adults. Louis has good hips and he has been well cared for and loved by his former owners. He can gain 15 pounds but because he is so active he runs off whatever he eats. Louis is now in our home and has been living with out pack of 6 for a week. He loves cats and all of our dogs and is extremely active but obedient and walks well on a leash. He needs to be placed asap. He is very dog friendly, loves car rides and seeks out attention readily from everyone he meets. He went to a street fair with us and a dog event with us and was a perfect gentleman. He is a calm dog with everyone and can be a great companion for a younger family. We will only consider applications from families with active engaged kids as Louis is a larger dog and needs energetic owners. Louis is a good watch dog, eager to please handsome.
