DUKE NEEDS A NEW FAMILY Duke was dropped at Sun Coast Humane, one of our affiliate rescue centers this past week. He was owned by a family that simply discarded him. He is a brown German Shepherd with no saddle but a classic face and body. He is house broken, SWEET, CALM, NOT DESTRUCTIVE, heart worm negative and likes people, kids and other dogs. WE DO NOT KNOW ABOUT CATS. He is not going to come to our rescue because we are closed for vacation until 9/13 but rather he will stay with Marilu Lippert at Sun Coast. If you call her at 941.474.7884 – www.humane.org, Duke will be immediately available. The adoption fee is the same as ours $150.
Duke has all of his shots and had been neutered. He is about 2-3 years old from his pictures and in great health, but as I have not yet met him I am going on their good word about him. He was evaluated by Marilu who i trust completely. Her evaluations are always right on target, and it is Marilu who will do the interviewing of prospective adopters at Sun Coast Humane in Englewood.
