WE HAVE TAKEN IN A 5 MONTH OLD PUPPY FROM THE STREET
HE IS NOT A GSD, BUT IF YOU PRETEND HE IS .... WELL HE COULD BE. THE FACT IS HE MAY LOOK LIKE A GERMAN SHEPHERD TO A YORKY. IF THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU THEN HE IS GOING TO MAKE A GREAT DOG.
Today we accepted a local street stray named Sammy. Sammy is not a German Shepherd. He is a Heinz 57 variety dog with shep colors and really cute ears. He weighs about 35 pounds and he is a sweet dog. We accepted him because some nice people dropped him here after finding him roaming the streets. He liked our dogs and was not at all reactive. He is quite shy but as soon as you pet him or come close to him, his tail goes 100 mph. He is a calm dog and probably not going to be very big. If you want a small mixed dog, Sammy may be that canine. We plan on taking him to the AWL tomorrow where he will be fixed and available next week. If however you want to meet this cutey-pie, just call us or the Animal Welfare League and they will set up a meet and greet.
