CHARLIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME
UPDATE: CHARLIE HAS GONE TO HIS NEW FAMILY... A GREAT PAIR AND WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.
Charlie just came in unexpectedly 2 WEEKS AGO. It seems he was adopted from a shelter but then discarded by the owner. People will never cease to amaze me. Charlie is about five or six. He has always lived with a family who dumped him at the pound only to be picked up by a person who didn't really want him. He was never mistreated but rather neglected. He was never in an abusive situation physically but was dumped like many dogs we get because his owners didn't care about him and he was never a family member.
That's all i want to say about his past. Charlie has a present and a bright future. He is a truly loving and calm dog. He likes all other dogs big and small and he especially loves our 4 cats. He loves people and seeks out attention readily. He bonds quickly and is truly playful and engaged. He is a bit chunky and needs to loose 10 pounds but other than that he is in great health, HW Neg, has all his shots and he is neutered. He is housebroken, crate trained and a real pleasure to be around. He is totally calm and walks well on a leash. Charlie is a sable 85 pound male GSD. He is a big boy and only wants to be cared for and loved. He was rescue from a day care center by the vet tech there because the owner wanted to simply dump him. He plays well with others, knows his commands and can be a welcome addition to any family or household. because he is 6 he still has lots of mileage left in him and with the right family can be a tremendous dog.
