THE TICKETS OR THE BLACK AND GOLD GALA BALL ARE IN.... NO I DIDN'T MAKE A MISTAKE, I PUT THIS HERE ON PURPOSE!
Today Sat 11/2 is the last day to buy tickets. We will see you there along with 450 dog lovers. I know that this should not be on the available dog page, but since we get hundreds of hits on that page.... well hre it is!
The AWL as many of you know is our favored charity since all of our revenue goes to them AND WITHOUT THEM WE WOULDNOT EXIST. The AWL Animal Welfare League is celebrating its 50th year in operation helping homeless pets in Charlotte and the surrounding counties. They are funded exclusively by donations and this Gala Ball is our biggest fund raiser of the year. Diane and I ask that you please show your support for our rescue, and for us, by purchasing tickets from us and coming to the event on November 9th at the Harborside Events Center in Punta Gorda. The band will be Debby and the Dynamics, a fabulous local band from Ft Myers/Cape Coral that has thrilled audiences with their musical ability for many years. This 6 piece band and extra large dance floor is the perfect catalyst for a super evening of dining and dancing. The dinner will be a sit down steak feast with one free drink and a cash bar, some of the proceeds go to the AWL. The event will be from 6pm to 11pm and there will be a silent auction concurrent with the event.
If you or your company wishes to participate as a sponsor, we have attached data sheets here for you to print off. GSD Rescue has reserved 6 tables, so all of our adopter friends can meet one another and sit close to the dance floor. Tickets are $100 each, in a check made payable to the AWL, also tax deductible as a donation. If you wish to put something up for the silent auction, please call me and we will have it picked up. We will also give you or your company receipts for goods to be auctioned off. If you have a condo for seasonal rental, art, 'stuff' that people want, or anything your company sells or services, please consider donating that to the cause. We will also consider advertising as a donation. Any sponsors will have their names prominently on the program, in the media and on the radio as AWL benefactors... so please get involved, we need you!
