SHINDIG AT THE SHELTER

ON SATURDAY OCT 19TH FROM 10 AM TO 2 PM THE AWL WILL HOLD SHINDIG AT THE SHELTER
GERMAN SHEPHERD RESCUE WILL ALSO BE HOLDING OUR REUNION. IF YOU GOT A DOG FROM US FROM 2007 TO THE PRESENT AND WOULD LIKE TO MEET US AT THE SHELTER FOR A PHOTO OP... PLEASE COME! The AWL will hold a Shindig at the Shelter at 3519 Drance St Port Charlotte (941 625 6720) in lieu of the Party in the Park. Its a celebration commemorating our 50th year in existence helping animals throughout the County. We will also be holding our reunion fr people that got dogs from SW FL GSD Rescue from 2007 to the present. These festivities are the precursor to our Nov 9th major event specifically the Black and Gold Gala to be held at the Harborside Conference Center in Punta Gorda. Tickets can be obtained from GS rescue, at the shelter or by calling 941 575 0243 or 941 625 6720.
The Shindig will be held on the shelter grounds so please feel free to bring your social dogs or cats. Please also bring bleach, dog or cat food, towels and blankets and donations are always welcome. There will be about 50 vendors there including GSD Rescue. Vendors can participate for a $40 fee while admission to the general public is $1. Tickets for the Gala are $100 each and of course both are tax deductible contributions... so let's get the word out to your dog friends and family.
