HANDSOME DUKE NEEDS A NEW FAMILY
UPDATE DUKE AS BEEN COMMITTED TO A FAMILY COMING THIS FRIDAY. HE HAS NOW BEEN ADOPTED
We just adopted out DUKE to a great family but unfortunately they have had some serious parental medical issues and cannot keep him. Their young son has developed an allergy and they are heart broken but have to rehome him. Duke is a great dog with zero issues and zero problems, but through no fault of his own has to be re-homed. He loves kids, he is well trained, obedient, housebrokwn, goods with people and dogs and just and all around great handsome dog.
I just spent an hour with Duke some months ago and knew right away he was special. He is a stellar looking large all black male GSD, about 85#'s. He has already been neutered but he was HW Positive and has been treated. That was 7 months ago and all of the residual effects are oiver and he is back to 100%....
Duke appears to be about 3ish, it is hard to tell he may be younger. He has been in a home for 7 months and is truly loved and cared for. He went through out training schools and did excellent.
Duke is a big handsome boy weighing in at about 85#'s. He is active, mentally engaged, responsive and totally stable and loves attention and people. He is 100% BLACK. He is non-reactive to other dogs and we do not know about cats. He does come to your voice and will sit on command if prodded and will be a total Velcro dog with anyone that he knows loves him. He is a quick study and wants very much to please you. He is totally gentle and house trained. He definitely came from a loving home ORIGINALLY, albeit they dumped him on the street.... go figure? He is totally calm when you meet him and he seeks out attention. He likes human touch and people and he seems to like to play. He has a lot of energy but does not jump nor is he aggressive in any way. Duke has 'big dog feet'.
Duke is currently being fostered in Ft Myers, so if you would like to see him you will need an appointment so we can retrieve him for the meet and greet. If you want a handsome 'perfect' male, Duke is a great pick. Please call us at 941 575 0243 for an appointment
