CADENCE HAS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY Cadence came to us late last year from a family that had him since he was a puppy. Cadence is now 6.5 years old and full of life. He is a 125 pound male silver and black GSD. The photos below were when he was 145 pounds, but he has since lost some weight o his diet. He loves women a bit more than men, but when introduced correctly he is fine with people and is friendly towards animals, Of late he has become protective of his surroundings and we recommend that he get some training to reassure him that he is not the alpha and that his posturing in unnecessary. We do not know about Cadence and cats. He is fully trained, non destructive, housebroken, fine with kids and all people once introduced, and suitable for any household. We do recommend that a woman own him and that she is demonstrative enough to control him and train him. Cadence does need a firm hand as he is a large dog and must be in a home where he perceives the masters as alpha to him. He needs a master, preferably a woman but everyone in the household must be his master. The new owner needs to be demonstrative yet soft with him as he is quite responsive and loving. He does need to go to training to establish a proper bond, but he is fully trained and of course, housebroken.
He was re-homed by us late last year to a single female parent whose daughter had also gotten a GSD from us. Their home situation has changed and she can no longer keep him. We have agreed to begin the re-homing process immediately. He is also available immediately and is being fostered at VonTente kennels in http://N.FT Myers..
Cadence is in great health with no medical problems. He has all shots and he is neutered and heart worm negative and chipped. His coat is beautiful silver and black and well groomed. He is a large dog, so we recommend that he be homed in a family with older or no kids simply because of his size.
