THESE GIRLS HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOREVER AND HAVE NOW BEEN RETURNED TO THEIR ORIGINAL OWNER
There are times when our heart goes out to certain rescue dogs... this is one of those times.
I received a call from a person who found two beautiful female GSD's in his neighborhood. He already has 2 dogs one of which is a service dog. He took them in and had them seen by a vet. They have been given their shots and meds and are now in good health and living with this kind gentleman. Since he has no room for two more dogs, he has come to us for assistance in getting these sweet girls adopted to a home... preferably together.
We realize that is a tall order, but if someone out there wants two simply great GSD's, these these girls are for you. They are housebroken, obedient, polite and trained. They are HW negative at about 65#'s and black and tan in color. They are about 5-6 years old but that is totally a guess. We know they are playful, engaged and velcro to this guy... and that they love kids and other dogs.
If these girls Mindy and Molly can fill a void in your heart, please call me at 941 575 0243.
As I stated above these two beautiful girls were found wandering around in a neighborhood in East Florida. They were transfered by State Law to the kind gentleman who found them and cared for them. Late on the evening before we were going to place them in thier new home, he received a call from a woman claiming to be the original owner. Upon meeting with her it became apparent that these dogs were in fact hers, and after a careful review of the home, person and history they were returned to her.
It is great when stories of lost dogs end on a positive note. The fact that they have been returned to their original home is the best of all outcomes. We at SWFLGSD Rescue would always love to see lost dogs returned to thier owners, but unfortunately that rarely if ever happens. People tend to dump dogs and it is not unusual for dogs like this to be dumped. This is truly a unique case. Diane and I wish the kind family that found them and cared form them as thier own, all that life has to offer because kindness such as this should be rewarded. We wish the girls and their owner long life and love, and hope that this will be the first of many re-homing opportunities for us to witness.
