OBI NEEDS A NEW HOME AND FAMILY OBI was an owner surrender. He is an engaged 4yr old dog who needs an owner who can give him the exercise and attention he needs to thrive. He came from a truly loving home where he was the 'star'. He is being relinquished because mom and dad and new baby just don't have the time for this active dog. Obi is about 95 pounds and he is a friendly happy dog that is more interested in shadows and fetching than anything else. He is people and dog friendly and he is in excellent shape, neutered, hw neg an utd on shots. He is a sable large male, housebroken and not at all destructive. He is better on the couch than in a crate as he is not a fan of being crated. He was great with their baby and is extremely affectionate in the home. he is dog friendly and Farley approved. His owners wrote:
Obi is a true companion. He has excellent obedience skills. He loves spending time with his people, getting a lot of pets, playing fetch in the backyard, and getting exercise (even if it includes chasing birds that fly overhead). He is excellent around other dogs, children, and people. He will accompany you to an outdoor restaurant or cuddle with you on the couch. He will do well with an owner who wants a dog to truly spend time with.
